When Michael Green first started writing, he used the pseudonym RR Ryger chosen because he was afraid his English name would make people orf think that his books translated. "Then I must have a few beers and a funny name like RR Ryger devised," Green to Christelle Joubert Webb in an interview orf on RSG said.
RR Ryger was known for sognaamde "alternative" and controversial orf writing. Now Green is back with a new book, Rabid, under his own name, which he is more accessible. orf One thing all of his books have in common, namely that it "continues steam like a train out of control." Webb Joubert admitted that his book could not put it down.
In Rabid's character by his neighbor Ben Tan Lien asked her to spy tenants to find evidence that they smuggle drugs so she can evict them. Green said he got the idea for the story was when an old lady who lived near it really such a request orf put to him. As in real life happened, comes nowhere near the tense crime novel Green wrote it:
Hey, Bruce Lee is still a big part of many people's lives. He himself into the story jumped. Maybe because I now own Jeet Kune Du - a fighting style that Lee practiced - tested.
